DOUBLE-BLIND REVIEW PROCESS

The practice of double-blind peer review is to ensure that all paper get a similar and unbiased review. Both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from each other. It is an objective process at the heart of good scholarly publishing and is carried out on all reputable scientific journals. Our referees therefore play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of MISIT.

Special issues and/or conference proceedings may have different peer review procedures involving, for example, Guest Editors, conference organisers or scientific committees. Authors contributing to these projects may receive full details of the peer review process on request from the editorial office.

PUBLICATION FREQUENCY

MISIT is published online with a frequency. Besides that, special issues of MISIT will be published non-periodically from time to time.

OPEN ACCESS POLICY

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

ARCHIVING POLICY

LICENCE AND PERMISSIONS

It is a condition of publication that authors grant an exclusive license to MISIT. This ensures that requests from third parties to reproduce articles are handled efficiently and consistently, and will also allow the article to be as widely disseminated as possible. In assigning copyright, authors may use their own material in other publications, provided that the journal is acknowledged as the original place of publication, and MISIT is notified in writing and in advance.

Work submitted for publication must be original, previously unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. If previously published figures, tables, or parts of text are to be included, the copyright-holder’s permission must have been obtained prior to submission.
